The PORTRA 800 offers a fine grain structure for improved scanning and enlargeability in modern workflows. In the class of ISO 800/30° color negative films, Portra 800 is currently the film with the finest grain. The Portra 800 has warm color rendering (warmer than the Portra 160). The color saturation is also slightly higher than with the Portra 160. The skin tones are reproduced very well differentiated. It is the ideal choice for portrait and fashion photography where high film speed is required - and more generally for outdoor photography where there is a need to capture fast movement or where lighting cannot be controlled.
