Rollei 35 TE
After the success of the Rollei 35 as a result of the launch at the Photokina as the smallest existing 135 film camera in 1966, a luxury more advanced model of the Rollei 35 was planned in 1979, the Rollei 35 TE. The Rollei 35 TE was equipped with exposure control within the viewfinder, this was a great advantage as the previous models had to be taken away from the eye to see the exposure. The 35 TE is equipped with a 3.5/40mm five-elements Zeiss Tessar lens was designed by Zeiss Sonnar particularly for this camera. The shutter of the Rollei 35 TE was manufactured by Prontor, a Zeiss Sonnar subsidiary company in Calmbach.
